The theme looks great, and very very close to what I want. Unfortunately, the “Please do not remove the credits in the footer” warning completely breaks the Appearance section of the wordpress admin panel. So I’ve been unable to properly test this theme.
the warning shows only in preview if the footer credits are intact. if you have not edited the footer then just activate the theme in your admin dashboard
Mine says the same thing and I have NOT changed the footer. I can’t get into the appearance section at all anymore, how do i fix this???
download the new version. check my latest post
Thank you for getting back to me…I’m new to all this so its nice to know you’re there
I did find this update before and installed it (although I’m still getting that same message if I try to go into themes but whatever). I have two things I could really use your help on. 1) I can’t get any image to show up in the feature box on my main page – when I past the URL into the field, the URL shows up, not the image. I’m new to this and knwo you are very busy so really really appreciate your help!!!! 2)when I try and insert a custom logo, do i have any way of controlling the positioning? if you look on my page you’ll see 3 round bubbles with house logo – thats not my logo its just there for now to play around with. you’ll also see the big white box instead of a picture. http://www.nwprco.com
Thanks so much again for getting back to me!!!!
1. use html code for images, ex:
2. open style.css and go to header part and edit the style for positioning
thank you, I realize my lack of html knowledge is the problem. sorry to have bugged you. I’m going to have to hire someone to help with a few things. other than that, thank you for a theme that is so well done even an absolute beginner (never built a website or used html before in my life!) can use.
I see that you fixed the Footer error with the new update. However, I’ve heavily edited the theme so installing the complete new update would mean a lot of work. Could you tell me what I need to modify so the message doesn’t pop up. Right now, it is blocking access to my blog posts.
if you modify it via css by editing style.css then replace new theme files style.css with your modified css file, other than css file you must repeat your customization on the new theme files.
Is there not just a few of the files I could edit specifically instead? Is there not one or two specific .php files that are causing it to mess up?
should recustomized it. sorry
Dear AKOSPIAU,
Thank you very much for the wonderful theme!
Can you please elaborate a bit on how exactly should the URL be entered so that an img/movie will be shown on the Home Page. All I get right now is the URL in text and no pic is showing.
You said that it should be entered in HTML – can you give an example?
Thanks again
sorry for lack of documentation.
if you want to put video on featured box then input the whole embed code
ex. a youtube video
<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/6q5oS9KKeBM&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/6q5oS9KKeBM&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
if image then an html code for image:
ex.
<img src="your image url here" border="0" />hope that helps.
I used the formatting for the front page image and it refuses to work. I end up with a broken image. The source shows some inserted backslashes:
use the new version of obscorp, that will fix the backslashes issue on featured box and for the formatting, if your going to put an image, use the html formatting.
ex: <img src="your image location here" border="0" />
I have just activated the first version of the theme(did nothing else yet) and it gave me that FOOTER screen. I then removed that version and installed the update. It still gives me that screen. I haven’t done anything yet except install and activate WordPress.
Would be a very nice theme if not for that screen..
that would have something to do with some plugins installed in your wordpress. try to deactivate all plugins then install the theme then re-activate the plugins again
Hi,
Great Theme.
About the subscribe buttons on the homepage and sidebars in the post/pages. how do input my twitter id and as well as the rss and email subcription links/codes?
I couldnt find the options settings to change this.
go to theme option and add you twitter and feedburner id
Very nice themes. I’ll test them and will be back with a feedback.
